Trauma-informed teaching

Trauma-informed practice recognises that adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) affect brain development, behaviour, and learning readiness. It shifts from 'what is wrong with this student?' to 'what has happened to this student?' Practices include predictable routines, co-regulation, and restorative responses.
