Universal Design for Learning

UDL (CAST) provides three principles: multiple means of engagement, multiple means of representation, and multiple means of action and expression. UDL shifts inclusion from accommodation to design — removing barriers before they are encountered.

A framework for designing flexible learning experiences that meet the needs of all learners from the outset.
