Collaborative learning

Collaborative learning differs from group work in that it requires genuine interdependence — students need each other to succeed. Effective collaborative learning structures roles, accountability, and reflection. High-quality collaborative tasks cannot be divided and distributed; they require synthesis.

Students work together toward a shared learning goal, with mutual accountability for outcomes.
