Workshop model

The Workshop Model (Readers/Writers Workshop, Math Workshop) preserves the majority of lesson time for student practice with teacher conferring. Its three-part structure is predictable enough for routines to form, and flexible enough for authentic learning tasks.

A class structure combining a mini-lesson, extended independent or collaborative work time, and a share/reflection phase.
